Faith Leaders & Mini Vinnies
Our Faith Leaders
Our wonderful Faith Leaders are appointed each year, with two representatives from each class. They meet regularly to pray and plan activities to enrich the school and parish community, by supporting the other children in their faith development and preparing fundraising activities. They support teachers in delivering Key Stage and whole school worships, they help to prepare home prayer resources and act as being models of good practice for their peers in planning and delivering class based collective worship and prayers.

Mini Vinnies
The Mini Vinnies are a group of children from Key Stage 2 who are inspired to action to help others in need - any child can join and do not need to be elected. They are quite literally, mini St. Vincent de Paul’s - Children based in schools and parishes across England and Wales, and in several other countries across the world. They come together to form a part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society England and Wales, a voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty in all its forms. Mini Vinnies meet to pray, discuss and support however they can to help make a difference in their communities.
Mini Vinnies truly turn concern into action as they use the simple formula of ‘see, think, do’ to find people in need and help them. Our Mini-Vinnies have recently helped by:
- Making Christmas and Easter cards for elderly parishioners and local community
- Fundraising activities such as bun sales, raffles and non-uniform days in response to international disasters
- Organising Pensioners tea parties
- Running collections for the local foodbank
