Tatty Bumpkins

From Autumn 2, Emily from Tatty Bumpkins Wharfedale delivers Yoga sessions for all our foundation children and Year 1 pupils. Every Wednesday the classes take it in turns, in small groups to take their shoes and socks off and get ready to go on a yoga adventure with Tatty Bumpkin, learning new yoga poses each week. These poses can also be practised at home. To access the poses, click on the week you need, and have a go!

 

Autumn 2: Orange term 

Week 1 - Owl Pose and balance

Week 2 - Cat Pose and dynamic movement

Week 3 - Butterfly Pose and using or breath to release emotions

Week 4 - Boat Pose and core strength

Week 5 - Mouse Pose and self-regulation

Week 6 - Monkey Pose and coordination and teamwork

Week 7 - Finding joy and peace with the Christmas Festival story



Spring 1: Yellow term

Week 1 - Starfish and making a positive impact 

Week 2 - Spider pose dynamic movement

Week 3 - Feather and abdominal breathing

Week 4 - Crocodile and core strength

Week 5 - Cloud pose and exploring feelings and emotions

Week 6 - Dolphin pose and developing muscles for fine motor control and handwriting

 

Spring 2: Green term
