Worship & Religion
Worship and prayer is central to our daily activities at St. Walburga’s, ranging from the celebration of Mass on feast days, holy days of obligation and special occasions such as leavers Mass, through Key Stage or class led Collective Worship, to daily morning, lunchtime and afternoon prayers. Children’s faith practice builds through each year group until they are confident to plan and deliver their own liturgies in Key Stage 2.

THURSDAY Class Worship
FRIDAY Celebration Worship
During the seasons of Advent and Lent, children have the additional opportunity of participating in voluntary prayers, as well as celebrating special liturgies with the school community such as ‘Prayers around the Wreath’ or ‘Stations of the Cross’. Families also enjoy praying together at home with travelling rosaries and cribs during these seasons.
